Looking for a CJ

I am looking for a CJ to fix up, not completely rebuild/restore. Most likely I will be doing the "easy" repairs and going to a shop for anything major. I have done quite a bit of reading on CJ5's vs. CJ7's and differences of the various years. I am looking for some advice from folks out there on what they would be looking for? I will be using the Jeep for mostly driving around town, camping and just having fun with...no real off-roading stuff. Looking to spend up to $4000.

Hi Pop, will u consider a TJ? I am selling my 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport
4.0L 6 cylinders
Manual transmission
94k miles
Hardtop, alloy wheels

I am the second owner of this car. I bought it 3 years ago. When i bought it, it has 82k miles. I added 12k miles only.
It is my everyday car. I just bought a new VW GTI and would like to sell this car.
This car never go off road and it is in very good mechanical condition. only 94k miles.

When i bought it, I did tune up and put changed two oxygen sensors. 4 tires are about 1 years old. two brake lines are new. windshield is 1 year old. oil change every 3-4k miles. Engine runs very smooth. Asking $6900. Price is negotiable. 347-878-0013 Ralph
