Just Test Drove 08 Liberty Limited

I'm new. I would describe myself mechanically inclined and try to do most repair work myself.

My wife and I test drove and 08 Liberty Limited with all the bells and whistles. Skyroof to remote start to navigation to heated leather, etc. It has 94k on the clock but is in great shape.

I haven't found any flaws other than one?

At low speeds I felt a very very soft vibration coming from the front. My wife couldn't feel but I could, I have OCD like that. It went away at normal speeds 25+. This is the first 4x4 SUV we've driven in over 3 years so I'm not sure if it's normal or not. We're used to our very smooth Toyota Sienna.

Also would it be worth purchasing the extra warranty? It's $1700 and purchase price right now is at $13995.

The only thing to watch is that some owners have stated that they do not like the Skyslider.. They have had issues and maintaining it became a hassle.

It wouldn't hurt to get the warranty, if you can afford it. IMO when you buy a used vehicle you could be buying someone else's problems. If anything were to break or give out at first. It'd be nice to have a warranty to fall back on.

I just bought a 2009 Liberty and I decided to go with the warranty for this reason.

Good Luck on your purchase!
