Just bought my first jeep

Hey guys I just bought my first 1996 jeep cherokee. It's an auto 4 door. The body is in great shape, por15 under the jeep, NO RUST. Everything is mint about it including engine bay. Now at 183,000 miles what am I looking to go wrong? I don't no the mainentence history on it but it looks like it was taken care of. Brand new lift 3k ago same with the tires. It shakes at 55 but goes away, any ideas?

Do a Google search on "XJ death wobble". It's a jeep thing for pretty much all platforms however, but you're more susceptible to it with a lift and bigger tires and worn out suspension parts.

Just check all your fluid levels and make sure everything is good.. The rear seal, oil pan, and valve cover tends to leak on these.. So always keep an eye on your oil level if you have any of those.

Can you be sure there is no rust if it is covered in POR15? That stuff is made to cover rust. The lift, any lift, done by a person with unknown abilities with product of unknown quality would have nixed the sale for me. If it shakes at highway speed, the "lift" money should have been spent on suspension maintenance.

All a moot point because you already have bought it.
