just bought my first jeep

Picked up a 2004 willys edition tj. Can anyone tell me if it wad made on the sport or sahara platform. It is a 4.0 with an automatic

All TJs are built on the same platform. Sports and Saharas both have 4.0l inline six, as does the Willys edition.

Look at the below link on trim levels and do you own comparison of models. Willys edition near the end.

You could say that the Willys, like the sahara, has some unique trim options.

Those are sweet Jeeps. I would like to get me one, I am saving up for a Jeep in that 03-05 range, probably like a Rubicon Unlimited. I never thought to get the willys edition.

I think they are so cool, I loved the old CJ's that were decked out to look army issued. Although a real military issued Jeep would be so awesome.

I been trying to get my Dad's buddy to sell me his 1947 CJ2A, which I guess is a cold war era Jeep.

Its just sitting in his garage, I am sure he will eventually need the money and I know he wants to see it after I get it restored.
