Jeep to match cash-for-clunkers or 0% for 72 months on most 09 models

Just announced today and starts Thurs-Aug 31. Any idea if a Wrangler Unlimited is part of the 0% for 72? I doubt it, but just thought I would see if anyone knows for sure.

No they are not old enough. I believe the YJ might be.

It would appear that the 0% for 72months is a go on the Wranglers or a 1,250 rebate.

NOTE only 08 models not 09's.

Anyone have a link to more info on this?

I've been looking to get into a JK unlimited. Missed the 0% earlier this year.

I was gonna wait for the 2010's and get a gray one.. but 0% might change the ballgame.

I read this same article, but the deals on Jeep.com are the same as yesterday and the day before. Any idea what will be different with the new incentives?

From Jeep.com:

"2008 Wrangler 2 Door

-> Offer 1: Get $1,250 Customer Cash Allowance
-> Offer 2: Get low APR financing"

The 2009 inventory is small, but the 2008 is much smaller yet. They ought to practically give these away. The buyers will have to make plenty of compromises. Don't expect the color of your choice, let alone other features of interest.

One major problem I see with this offer is the majority of dealers are not going to have 2008 models in stock. Who's going to pay the cost of transporting that vehicle across the country, if necessary? Surely the dealer won't want to pay it.

The title of this thread says 09's is that just a misprint?

At least back when I bought my TJ, Wranglers always had limited allowances compared to other Chrysler vehicles. It's their popularity!

No, not a misprint. They are matching the cash for clunkers deal OR giving 0% for 72 months on MOST Chrysler, jeep, etc models. I called and it looks like 09 Wrangerls are not part of that deal, although other 09 models are.
