I know when I worked at A dealership Up north, Chrysler Dodge and Jeep, I was an auto detailer ,They had a shipment of the Commander's,( this was the first year they came out), Every single Commander had orange peel and they sent everyone back... Now I don't know if they fixed that issue or maybe it
was Just that shipment...

IMO, They are pretty nice, I really like them, But Im not a fan of Jeeps New stuff, Patriot, Compass ect.

Gotta Love Working at a Jeep Dealership....also Gotta love driving the SRT8 GC.

The paint... Had Orange Peel in it

Look At an orange (the fruit), That was all over the Commander at one point.

If you look at the paint especially in bright light, it will look like the surface of an orange. It has what look like little dimples in the paint. It's commonly referred to as orange peal, although it's more common from low budget paint jobs, not usually what should come on a new car. The paint should be perfectly smooth looking.
