Help me choose my next Jeep!

Ok so I narrowed my choices down to a few models. I prefer the Xj body out of them all basically for their durability and price. Now I can't figure out which one to buy. All I care about is that is has the most powerful straight six engine, manual transmission and 4WD. Does the 2door come with everything I listed? Is the 1995 the best year since it's OBD I? It's main use will be for snow plowing and minor off roading.

I remotely like the Zj body but the manual transmission isn't that common.

Would the MJ meet my qualifications?

To sum up, I want out of it

-Most powerful Straight 6 engine
-Manual transmission
-4WD

I know manuals are not the best for plowing, but I would't be plowing anything serious or take more than a few hours. I still want to have fun with my jeep.

If you take the manual out of the equation, would the vehicles you guys recommend differ?

You are all over the board here. It looks as if you are wanting to buy a Cherokee for plowing.

First, get all the information you can by reading post on this forum. You can start at:

Thanks. Yeah, there's so many jeeps out there it's hard to choose. I had 2 wranglers, liberty and 2 grand Cherokees so I may switch it up and go with an Xj.

Is there any websites that break each model down individually except wikipedia? Kind of like a model faq?
