Got me a CJ!

Just picked up this week. 79 CJ7 with the AMC 304 and Automatic Trans. Quadra trac switch in the glove box. I know the hardcores will scoff at the idea of an automatic, but the spousal unit has no interest in learning to drive a stick. I wont be doing any hardcore rock crawling or mud bogging, its just a toy for me (read: something else to throw money at)...

The frame is in great shape with a little bit of repair needed in front of the left rear wheel at the drain hole. Nothing major. The body has been well taken care of with solid floors throughout and barely any rot. there are a couple of places that will need to be replaced, but for being 34 years old, I cant complain. Underneath, the outboard floor supports where the body mount is need replacing on both sides and the support under the tailgate needs to be addressed. Winter projects, all!

I think I got a pretty good deal for a strong runner in this condition in this area. PO was asking $4500, I got it for $3900.

What say ye?

Good lookin rig. I think you got a pretty good deal at 3900 if you don't run into any other issues with it.
