I just bought a 2012 unlimited sport with 85,000. I paid $22,000 for it. I'm happy with that deal. jeep is in excellent condition.

link goes to two 2016s. but not counting what to look for in any vehicle. if you plan to say run larger tires find a jk of 2012+ with 3.73 gears. this will save you a lot of cost. stock is 3.21 gears. option is 3.73

The original post is several years old, that's why the link takes you to different jeeps now.

at least the advice still counts, 3.21 is never a good idea.

You sir, are absolutely right. 3.21 gears is never a good thing in a JK. Acceptable if it's going to stay strictly stock on factory 29" tires.
