Is this a good deal?
I just found this tj and was wondering if this is a good deal. I just called the dealer and asked if it had a d44 in it and what the gearing was, he should be calling me back shortly.
My second option would be a 03 rubicon, the seller is asking 15,800 but the KBB says its only worth 13000 in excellent condition. I talked to him on the phone and he said that there is not a spot of rust and it is like new. Of the two options what do you think I should go with and what do you think I should offer the seller with the Rubicon? http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp;?tracktype=usedcc&searchType=21&pageNum ber=0&numResultsPerPage=50&largeNumResultsPerPage= 0&sortorder=descending&sortfield=PRICE+descending& certifiedOnly=false&criteria=K-|E-|M-_23_|B-11000|D-_249_|N-N|R-150|I-1%2c7|P-PRICE+descending|Q-descending|Z-33776&aff=national&paId=311858036&recnum=22&leadEx ists=true Rubi http://tampa.craigslist.org/hil/cto/1186256838.html

I wouldn't pay more than 13K for the Rubi. I would say take all the cost of all the mods he has done and divide by 2 that should give you an estimate of what they are worth. He also has a fair amount of miles. I got my jeep with custom front and rear bumper/tire carrier, Crager soft 8 wheels, 31x10.5.15" Mickey Thomson MTXs with 38K for $12,500, six months ago from a dealer. I have a soft top instead of a hard top, but they go for $700 all day along around here.

id offer his 13,500 for the rubicon as long as the miles are low and its in excellent shape, 15 is a little high and 12 is too low could never see that listed for 12 unless he had rocks in his head or something.
