Good deal?

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and looking for my first Jeep. Is this a good deal? I'm at work now, but I plan on calling the owner tonight. Unless, of course, you think that it's not worth my time.

Thanks

Had to add this. This deal seems too good to be true.

Sorry about the fiasco, I didn't fully read the sign up e-mail regarding posting links.

Hopefully this will work now.

What do you think of this deal?

not too bad, about $1,000 high to me, compared to what I've seen over here.

worth looking at. I'm not a big fan of soft-top hard doors with a HT.

the second one? well, not a fan of the 2" body lift... also, it's carburated, not FI, which isn't the worst thing, but still. Seems to have quite a bit of $$$ in aftermarket parts, but for that price, you can buy a nice (newer) TJ

Thanks for the fast reply.

I was kinda leery of the carb engine. I've heard they can have problems with leaks and poor performance.

I could not believe the price of the first one! I would not call 143000 miles low either. I do not know your area, but I bought my 99 TJ with 128400 miles for $3500 it was unmodded but did have 3 tops! I would buy a carbed engine but would prefer FI for that price (the second one)
