For that kind of money I would get a TJ. I hate carbs that much.

Hey, I live here in Dallas where that jeep is and know wranglers or a bit on the high side here in Dallas. With that said, that jeep is way over priced by 1000s of dollars.

For reference . I bought mine about 6 months ago after looking a long time on Craig's list and local dealership . I found one at used dealership . A 1998 with 148k miles, auto, nice, AC, soft top for 6800 plus tax and lic. I bought it and still feel it was a bit high but could not find a better deal.

Too many miles. Too may dollars. Really clean looking, but check for rust carefully. I would give $5,000 IF everything worked correctly. If it didn't: $4,000.

usually dealer and good deal don't go in the same sentence.... Seems way over priced. I would think most of the jeeps in TX would be rust free unless you lived on the gulf.

I can't believe how much yj prices have stayed high/gone up. Over 10 years ago I bought a mint 87 wrangler, 4.2 with working ac, 1 owner from cali, no rust anywhere, 40k, two sets of doors, three tops, new tires, showroom condition, etc for $6500.

If you want a jeep with a carb go with a cj, if you want fuel injection I'd go with a 91+ with the 4.0.
