Freedom Edition?

I'm new here so if I've posted this to the wrong forum I apologize. Basically I'm in the market for a Liberty. I'm trading in my import car for another Jeep. I have came accross an '03 Liberty Freedom Edition. What is so special about the Freedom Edition Line? From what I understand they only made this line in 2003. Is it even worth it or should I spend a little extra money and get a newer model Renegade? Any info or suggestions that can be provided will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hey, just ran across your post. I've got a Freedom Edition - it was more a trim package than anything else. AC, Chrome 15x7 Wheels, 235/75/15s, little red/white/blue badge on the side, etc. As far as functionality it's based on the X model but I think is basically equivilent to a sport with the trim. So, unless you really like everything included in the trim, no, it's not worth extra money, but I doubt anyone would be charging anymore for it. Hope that helps.
