Found another jeep to consider - 2002 Wrangler with some damage for $7600

I have been assured there is no frame damage, it was taken through the woods and had a beating laid down on it. Worth it or not? I would want to fix the majority of these dents, but if the cost is too high it isn't worth it. I don't know how hard it is to fix on a Jeep, perhaps you guys know some of the costs...by the way it has 76000 miles.

new top (or just get a bikini top and scrap the full top?)
see dents attached, I would want to fix these

My first thought is that it is not worth it and the jeep is way to banged up. But you guys know better than I do!

Hell no!

I would sell you mine for $6,500 and I wouldn't trade mine for that one and $2,000 cash.

I just did the Jeep search in tampa. You can do better for the Money. For 7500 you can do better than i did probably. I saw a bunch 5-10 k no damage with average miles on them. I bought mine on the low end because it was two owners, garage kept by both, and Low miles on a 6 cylinder. Check auto traders listings, there is a lot in our area. Look for no damage and watch for rust, Mostly our area doesnt strain a jeep.

Thanks for all the advice.

Looks like a pass. Unfortunately most of the nice jeeps in Autotrader in the $5 to $10 range are scams, or at least the ones I emailed. Prices here in Florida seem to be $2k more than other areas, I know that Jeeps are very popular here so that is not helping!!!

Check OUR classifieds. Surely there are some Floridians selling some Jeeps.

that is not work 7k+ may 2k at most, if you have carsoup there I would try that, also there is always ebay, craigslist and the classifieds here. I think I would look at driving out of the Tampa area to buy one prices is your area are terrible, maybe some where else in florida, or another state.

I would have to agree im not sure 7k+ is a real good deal. Check out CarSoup, there's always tons of vehicles on their (atleast here in MN)

This jeep exemplifies why corner guards are an underrated investment.
