Right now I have an 07 Ram with a Hemi that I'm getting rid of and replacing with a 2007 Wrangler Unlimited. I've made a mistake and I'm looking to fix haha. I understand the 4.0 I6 is legendary and it's no longer in production. I was planning in swapping the engine for a 4.0. Is it even worth the work or should I swap with a 5.7 Hemi, 6.1 Hemi, or Cummins 4BT? I've seen them all done. This will be a road/off-road vehicle (Daily driver but I still want to have fun). Any suggestions?

The 3.8L that is in the wrangler is a very good motor plenty of low end torque, with more high end torque as well, they are also very reliable, swapping in a 4.0L is a terrible idea not to mention probably not allowed under your state laws. If you really want to swap goes one of your other options don't count out the Chevy engines either.
