Feeler - Anny interest in '82 J10 Honcho Sportside

I have a '82 J10 Honcho Sportside that I have been working on for the last 2 years. There were only 1300 J10 Sportsides made from '81 to '83. Prior to acquiring the truck, it had sat in a garage for approximately 10 plus years. I did all the necessary body work and paint on the truck along with:
Weber progresive carb
Exhaust
all new steel brakelines
New brakes all around
New Drums
4" Skyjacker lift kit
New Seats
New Carpet
New Headliner
The 4.2 Engine has ~6000 miles on it
It still needs a few minor interior cosmetic touches, and will need new tires.
I was not looking to sell it until I saw one sell rather high on E-bay last night. Is there anyone out there that may be interested in my truck. I am open to sell. I am also open to trades(Scrambler, CJ7, Willys or Wrangler). I have pics for anyone interested. Thank you and have a great day

Those are really hard to find. I know many fsj lovers who would give many things for one. Post pictures and maybe start a thread in the classified section on here. GLWS

I need to resize my pics, and I'll put them in my gallery. I tried posting a classified, but did not want to upgrade to a premium at this point.

I'd say it's worth a decent amount. I seen the one you were talking about on ebay and it was a beautiful truck. I've been looking for a decent j series or chevy truck for awhile and I'm really surprised the money that the j series trucks are bringing. I'd say the only thing that would hold it back $ wise would be that it's not a v8.

I'd honestly put it on ebay you might be surprised....

I wasn't loking to sell until I saw that truck sell on E-bay. Unfortunately, I have registered the vehicle, and am waiting to get the title back from the State. My profile pic is the truck. I have also posted 2 other photos in my gallery. I can send resto pics also, if interested. I apologize for the small photos, but it is all the site allowed. Thank you for looking. Have a great day.

I know you're trying to sell but their is another stunning stepside honcho on ebay right now. It's better than the first one that was mentioned earlier. It should bring good money

Yes, I saw it. However, I'm sure it will bring more than I am asking. Also, I think some unmentioned work has been done to the e-bay truck. It does not have the stock Honcho stickers on the side for '82. I will admit, though, it is a beautiful truck.

nice work. my opinion is to finish it before trying to sell it. maybe not the tires so the new owner can pick what they want but the other things such as ball joints, etc..

My experience is that buyers either want a project or a finished vehicle.

GLWS - great looking truck.

I just posted to see if there was any interest, because the truck is just going to sit all winter. If nothing happens, I'll buy new rims & tires next year. Thanks for your compliment and input.

Hi Steve,

Did you sell your Honcho? I would be interested in chatting if you are still looking to sell.
