Guys, I would like your honest assessment if I bought this Jeep at the right price. How much do you think this is worth? This is a 2010 unlimited sport with 17K miles. Some of the extras are: smittybuilt xrc front and rear bumper, procomp 37" tires with procomp rims, rim rigid light bar, lift kit, optima yellow top battery, rancho rock sliders, bushwhacker tube fenders, smittybuilt xrc 8,000 lb winch, CB, kc 4205 driving hids, soft top, stereo with navigation system. How much would you pay for this?

I think if you paid around 25k you did okay.

And despite the BS that everyone here is going to tell you, those mods are worth something because you wanted them. You could not buy a 2010 unlimited with 17k on it and do those mods for much under 25k.

If you didn't know about this forum last week....

...how did you join in October of last year without knowing about it?

It's irrelevant if you paid too much or not. You already bought it. Now enjoy it.

The technical advice you get from me here is worth exactly what you paid me for it. Warranty issues will be reimbursed at double what you paid me for the advice.

I agree, one of the worst feeling you can have is to second-guess yourself or find out after-the-fact that there is/was a better deal out there.

If you did your due diligence and homework then be confident in your decision.

Of course I am not regretting my decision. I just wanted to know if I did not get ripped off for paying $25K for this rig and I have to do about $1K in repairs.

You are missing our point.

You can ask 3 different people and get,

You paid too much and got ripped off.

You paid fair market value.

Your Jeep is worth more than you paid, good job!

Pick which answer which makes you happy.

Fair market value is defined by what 2 willing parties agree on, so unless someone had a gun to their head......

FWIW, that's a BEAUTIFUL rig. I think you did ok. Not a steal, but not a rip off either. Jeeps require more maintenance than most vehicles, and ESPECIALLY if they're modded heavily like that one is. Drive it with a smile on your face!!

Not entirely true... Any vehicle, be it Jeep, Honda, or even Toyota will require more maintenance when used to it's fullest potential, versus one of the same types used "sparingly".
