Considering buying my first Jeep
Hey!
I've been searching for awhile and I think I've finally found the Jeep I'd like to buy. It's a 1990 Jeep YJ - 2.5L engine and standard transmission. Mileage is 213000KM. Third owner, but little rust and from the looks of it, it's hardly been off road, if ever. Asking price is $3400. As a jeep newbie, does this look like a good deal? Should I be cautious of the high mileage? Any thoughts or advice?? Thanks! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

What do you plan on doing with this?
Is it going to be your DD? Are you planning on putting a lift with bigger tires? Are you going to be doing alot of wheeling with it? If you answered yes to the last 2, you might want to look at the 4.0 instead. The 4 cyclinder would not perform very well with bigger tires and while mudding. Just my $.002 |
