Buying a Jeep
I'm thinking of picking up a 1997ish Jeep Wrangler with the manual transmission and around 70,000 or so miles. I'm looking to use it on the weekends offroading, fishing, and hunting. The place where I offroad is GWNF and it's easy to moderate trails. The only real nasty places are the stream crossings, which are usually 18-24in deep there abouts.
I would do a budget boost and then a one inch body lift. That would allow me to clear 32x11.50s or 33x.11.50s I think. A few other things such as armor, lights, and recovery pieces and I'd be done. Will that vehicle clear 24in of water or do I need to install a snorkel? Also can I fit 33s on the stock wheels? Thank you.

With only 2ft of water you will be fine in that crossing. with 33's you will need new wheels or you will need to get spacers for your current wheels because the BS on those stock wheels isnt going to be enough for 33's (depending on how wide the tire is)
