I don't know if towing it for long hauls will have any detrimental effect on the Jeep - as long as the transfer case was in neutral it shouldn't matter. Price and mileage wise I'd say go for it.
I'm assuming the stealership did some sort of inspection and can document that it passed and all the fluids, belts, axles etc. are in good shape.
My last Jeep was an XJ sport (still regretting having to trade it in
) and this one looks like a good deal. As always, try to talk the stealer down on the price(but I think they expect that anyways).
