Backwoods Find...Rare antique Jeep???

So I was out with a buddy picking Volkswagen parts today and the owner also had an old Jeep she wanted to sell me. It's nothing I've seen before...It is a single cab pickup style body and looks to be from the 40's. The bed is not on the truck. The owner has a title and the only badge I see is "Jeep Station". It looks like the badge was supposed to say "Jeep Station Wagon" but the word wagon was left off of both badges. The plate on the firewall has some information but needs a good polishing to read most of it. I guess its the truck version of the Jeep Station Wagon? Is it worth buying?

It does have the original engine intact but the whole thing has been sitting in the woods for a long time so it needs more than sparkplugs and a coat of wax.

I have pictures but the upload didn't go right...after doing some research I am pretty confident its a 47-49 Willys Pickup with the Go-Devil engine. It is the 2wd version.

Just the nestalgia of it would be awesome! Could end up being a money pit though. Beings that its a willies, the parts I would assume would be hard to come by.
