Advice on a 94 YJ

It's a 1994 YJ with the 4.0L, 5-speed manual, and 103k miles.

Tow package, color matched fenders (like a Sahara, but it's isn't one). Paint looks good (red exterior), interior looks solid (gray interior). Looks to be stock height and probably 28s (pretty good tread).

They're asking around $6,800. KBB states it's worth $3500 (but I've never seen a Jeep go for what KBB says).

My girlfriend is looking to get herself a Jeep and I purchased my 89 from a family member for way under KBB so I'm not 100% sure what we should be looking for.


Any advice? Thanks!

Upgraded cloth interior, leather wrapped steering wheel, overhead speaker bar, A/C, color-matched side steps and fender flares, full doors with glass windows, ABS brakes, alloy wheels, Heavy Duty Off-Road suspension option, tow hooks, and tow package. Locking steel center console, plus Add-A-Trunk rear cargo storage.

With it being the 4.0 and lower miles It's probably a $6k YJ all day everyday if the shape is as good as you state. A few years ago it could be had for probably $4k or so but the price of low mileage YJs is through the roof anymore. That being said you are from AZ, so rust is not the same issue as I have being from Illinois. Throw KBB/NADA out the window for any 20 year old vehicle, compare it to others in your area for pricing.

Thanks! Rust isn't a huge issue, I do check for it still.

My YJ just hit 117k two days ago. But I couldnt sell it.
