88 XJ Wagoneer - Good deal or money pit?

found a 1988 XJ wagoneer, if I looked it up right this was the first generation of this vehicle after Chrysler bought AMC. there seem to be several engine types,
hoping this is a straight 6 Renix like the cherokee's of same age.

it has 208,515 miles looks in great body shape from the pictures,
but it needs a fuel pump, an exhaust system, and a battery..as listed by owner
the good: its only $550

http://richmond.craigslist.org/cto/3104237854.html

its at least 1.5 hrs away and I have to rent a tow dolly to bring it back with.
so I havent seen it to make other determinations (going to look with trailer sat.)

do you think its a good deal or trouble?
I currently do shade tree mechanic work on my 99 cherokee that
my friends and I put a 3" suspension lift on. and on a previous jeep
I helped do and engine swap due to a bad head in a 2001...
