88 Cherokee what should I look for?
I found a 88 Cherokee wagoner limited so it has leather, power windows/locks (that do work), 4.0, auto and 172,000 miles. I checked the floor boards and they are solid the bigest rust is on driver side both doors have rust holes about size of a golf ball.
The rust holes I know will have to be fixed and when doing that I sure I will have to take out about twice as much as I see rusted. The rear axle is D35 I think. I need to crawl under and get a good look. I hope it has the D44 ANything else I need to check before I make a offer? It is on a lot and he is asking $950 and I plan on offering 800.

It does have the D35. I test drove it a few mins ago and the motor is missing a little but that should clear up with a tune up.
I am going to sleep on it and make a offer tomorrow I think |
