4cyl auto 97 TJ test drive didnt suck

Just sharing my surprise drive,
On a whim i test drove a 97 TJ with a 4cyl and auto.
I expected it to be horrible since a recent test drive in a '00 4cyl stick was horribly slow ( shady dealer-obviously something wrong)
But this 97 on the highway was ok! Cruised along at 65. Tracked nice.
Reminded me of my old 87 Cherokee (also 4cyl auto)
No speed demon, but simple and clean.

My future plans for any tj would be 33s-35max, 4"lift max. With the fourpot, gears would be a necessity too.
Coupled with the fact that miles were low and frame/body looked good, i think i might be making an offer on this one
And this coming from years of me saying "i only drive manuals ".

....am i getting old?
Hold on, i think some neighborhood kids might be on my lawn.

I agree, lets see some pics. And where I live there are a ton of 4 cyls lifted and locked. I don't hear any of them complaining.

89 Wrangler - Sent to part out heaven.
88 Cherokee - Exocage, 4.0, 8.8, 4.88, 6.5 lift, 33's.
