Its time to get rid of the minivan folks and I need your advise.

The question is, what is the main difference between the below two jeeps and the price range. Sahara vs Sport is about 4k...

Money is the main difference. Sahara comes with power everything, tinted soft windows and 18" rims. Sport has manual windows/locks and 16" steel wheels. Sport "S" package gives you power everything and 17" alloys for about $2.5k. I bought the base sport, only options being auto trans and connectivity group (Bluetooth, streaming audio, steering wheel controls). You'll find on craigslist all the off roaders sell their brand new sahara and sport s alloys for $500 - $750 (took me a week to find a brand new set of 2013's for $500). If you're looking to stay stock and may actually go off road once in a blue I'd argue you're better off with the 17" rim anyway as you'll have more sidewall than on an 18" sahara rim. IMO the sahara w/tinted windows and matching fender paint is for girls and pretty boys commence bashing...
