2010 JK 4 Door Sport

Hello all, I am about to order a black 2010 JK 4 Door X (S package) 4X4 Wrangler from a local dealership. Unfortunately, the dealership has to order it from the factory so it looks like I will be waiting for awhile. Anyway, here are the specifics on the jeep:

2010 4 Door JK Sport Unlimited
6 speed
Tinted windows
Dual tops with 3 piece modular hardtop
3.73 axle ratio instead of 3.21
Dana 44 rear
SIRIUS satellite radio

I did not do much on the wheels or tires because as soon as I get the jeep I will be adding a taraflex 3" lift kit and 35 inch tires.

The dealership offered me a price of $27,534 (not including tags and tax). Is this a reasonable price? Also, is there anything else that I am forgetting to order on this jeep. I was thinking about adding the supplemental front seat mounted air bags for $490? Thoughts?

I did not opt for a rubicon or sahara because I really dont plan on doing much serious off road stuff but I do plan on working on the the aesthetics of the jeep by adding a lot of aftermarket add ons (arb bull bars, lift kit, 35" tires, rocker panels, etc)

Any input would be much appreciated.

Considering how well they are selling, and the fact that this veicle will spend zero time on thier lot, 27 doesnt sound bad at all. Actually seems to be the norm around my area for 4 drs to sell well over 30k with few options.

Bite the bullett. It's only money.

Thats right at the pricing I'm getting in the NW.

The 4dr JK is really popular. There isn't much need for crazy deals at the moment.

seems like a fair price considering your getting the dual tops

Actually, I just came back from the dealership and actually ordered the 4 door Rubicon with all of the trimming except for the GPS instead of the X model. The total amount came to $31,849 (not including tags and tax.) I also got the dual top group. I went with the rubicon because of the 4.10 gears and the front dana. As I mentioned earlier I am putting a lift on it as soon as i get it

The jeep was ordered so I can look elsewhere if in fact there are substantially better offers out there. Any opinions on this price? I researched MSRP and it comes to $34,425

Great forum, and thanks to all who replied.

Sounds like a fair price - I paid $29,500 for my '08 Rubicon Unlimited, this time last year - it was fully loaded, except no MyGig (the maps still didn't cover the northern half of Canada).

I think that the difference in price from the X is well spent.

Good choice with the rubicon.

Getting factory 4.10's and lockers is a freaking awesome setup.
