2005 liberty

wife is thinking of buying a 2005 liberty v6 4 wd what kind of mileage can she expect? any mech.problems that are common on liberties? somebody was telling me windows regulators was cheaply made?

You can expect 14-17 mpg.

I just bought one.

2006 and 7 seem to be worse for the window regulators, I read there was a change and chrysler ended up recommending the old system was fitted if they needed replacing.

Other than that I have seen rusty door bottoms and some feel a bit loose on the road when the suspension wears.
Most will need the bushes replacing soon I should think anyway to keep them in good order so it shouldnt put you off an otherwise good car.

I would buy on condition rather than colour and spec tbh.

But there are plenty out there and they generally seem tough (partially due to being fairly primitive) so you shouldnt have a problem finding one she likes.

Thirsty, noisy, rough round the edges but ultimately very capable for any task just like a jeep should be!
