We are looking at purchasing a 2004 Wrangler Unlimited X from a private seller. However, we're having a lot of trouble finding mod parts and accessories to customize. The Jeep comes with a rag top, and we much prefer hard front doors (love the ability to roll down a window, rather than fold/roll). Where can we find compatible parts that are not ridiculously expensive? Is there a different term for this make and model? Is "LJ" the same deal? This is our first Jeep buy, we would appreciate any and all advice!

the unlimited is known as "LJ", as far as part i would look on craigslist, remember that full hard doors from a TJ(97-06wrangler) will fit your unlimited. in fact most parts from a TJ will transfer over to a LJ except for the top. that should help you find more parts, also look into www.4wd.com www.northridge4x4.com www.quadratec.com

As 2005x said....your options are UNlimited...(sorry for the pun). I'm looking at the LJ also...and there are a ton of TJ parts available...the LJ IS a TJ...just a LWB version (long wheelbase)....good luck...i'm sure you will love it...!
