2004 Unlimited

Alright guys I am trying to help a good buddy out that is in Iraq. His wife has decided to get him a jeep and we found a deal on a 2004 Wrangler Unlimited with 90k and an auto, soft top, full doors and d44 rear. Is there any known problems I should be looking for with this yr?

just check it out very thoroughly. Drive it down the road and listen very closely to any rattles or popping noises. Make sure the transfer case is in working order. also check under the hood for any leaking fluids.

No known problems, but as stated test drive it, check the t-case positions, check for leaks, and maintenance records. Also look underneath for scrapes, and scratches, to see if it was taken off road much.

Yep I took it for a test drive... rode good. Before going back to dealership found a gravel parking lot and tried out the 4hi and 4lo. I didnt see any leaks on it and skid plates had little to no scuffs on them. Thanks for the advice though.
