2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport

Was wondering if this looks like a good deal, I drove it and it ran really good. Is there anything specifically I should look for? I will be trading my 96' Jeep Grand Cherokee and my 93' Dodge Stealth R/T in on it. I'm satisfied on the trade just want opinions, here's the link to the dealers page. 2001 Jeep Cherokee - Superior Used Cars Inc Cuyahoga Falls, OH

I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Classic. The leaf springs in the back are exhausted and need to be replaced. I need to know what parts I need to buy so that my mechanic will have everything he needs to complete the job. Also, can I go with a heavier spring? I will be towing a small trailer with a four wheeler through the winter months

Look for rust
Look for the cracked head issue. Make sure when warmed up the radiator holds pressure.

Rust could be a problem in your area.

Also the price is a bit high. Edmunds shows the Dealer Retail for this vehicle to be $3,987, so
your dealer is about $3k high. You are probably giving him your trade ins. You can check other
price sources for this vehicle on NADA, Kelleys Blue Book and others.
Don't buy without a Carfax report.
