1993 yj 4.0

I've never owned a Jeep, so this is a first for me. Please be gentle.

I'm looking at (and currently driving) a '93 YJ 4.0 5 speed with half doors and soft top. Body's in good shape, only a little rust on the windshield frame and a cracked windshield. 142K miles.

I think a 3 inch bodylift and nearly new 32x10.50 ProComp A/Ts that my brother put on, with black generic steel wheels.

The only issues that my brother (the current owner) or I are aware of is that the brake cylinder leaks somewhere, though not too badly, and the transmission is sometimes hard to get into second gear. When the tranny's cold, it's really hard to go into second. Sometimes get a little gear-grinding feeling through the shifter when getting it into second.

Neither of us are hard-core wheelers. I need a DD since my Tahoe died and maybe an occasional toy and he needs it out of his yard. He's asking 2500 for me, but I think I could get a few hundred more off the price, since he owes me. Good price? Fair price for the shape?

I'll put up pics this afternoon, if I can find my digicam.
