1991 YJ 4.0 195,000 miles Opinions Needed

As posted earlier, I have been looking for a YJ to begin building for primarily trail rig use. Just wanted to get some opinions on the latest I went to look at.

It is a single owner, primarily garage kept 1991 Sahara with 4.0 and 5pd with 195,000 miles. The frame and floor pans are very solid, no signs of rot, the 4x4 works flawlessly and the motor runs smooth. The paint is not perfect (no surprise for a 20+ year old Jeep), the passenger fender is a little crunchy in one spot (not too concerned, plan on removing anyways) and the seats are rough. The asking price was $2,800, brought down to $2,500 on site, I offered $2,200 and am waiting on an answer (the actual owner wasn't present). Anyone see any issues with this being worth $2,200?

Welcome to the dark side. Seats will need replacing as will the timing chain probably. Looks to be a good unit.

Yeah, I've been reading the seat list on what fits, just need to find a minute to get to the yard and pull em.

I bought new smittybuilts for replacements. Good units. Some people have good luck with fabrication, and can get their replacements at the yard. I just don't like to mess with it.
