Tank trapped

Burried the Rubicon in a tank trap. Wheelin rule #1 always know whats on the other side. Got a bent fender, possibly a busted air locker outta this one. Came over the burm and looked 6' down into the hole, bamm. Too much fun!

Upgrade oppertunity (spelling?)!!! I've wanted tube fenders for a long time now. When the timber companies want a road closed they do it right. In my eyes a dirt burm say's CLIMB ME! Too much fun.

Turns out I broke my outer axle shaft right at the unit bearing. The whole tire sheard off yesterday while coming to a stop at a stop sign. I'm sur glad it wasn't on the freeway or a corner. Was only about a block from my house. I hadn't driven it since The last time I posted this. I'm amazed (lucky) that it didn't shear off on the trip home after getting stuck. Forged knuckles are on the agenda now and fusable hubs. I'll post a picture asap.

Got the parts to do the Reid knuckle conversion yesterday. Buying a whole Chevy D44 front today for the outer parts needed to complete the conversion. Here's a pic of the broken knuckle and new Reid knuckles and WFO high steer components.
