Tank trapped

Burried the Rubicon in a tank trap. Wheelin rule #1 always know whats on the other side. Got a bent fender, possibly a busted air locker outta this one. Came over the burm and looked 6' down into the hole, bamm. Too much fun!

Also leads me to question.... Why the hell are there tank traps in random places in Oregon?

Upgrade oppertunity (spelling?)!!! I've wanted tube fenders for a long time now. When the timber companies want a road closed they do it right. In my eyes a dirt burm say's CLIMB ME! Too much fun.

Turns out I broke my outer axle shaft right at the unit bearing. The whole tire sheard off yesterday while coming to a stop at a stop sign. I'm sur glad it wasn't on the freeway or a corner. Was only about a block from my house. I hadn't driven it since The last time I posted this. I'm amazed (lucky) that it didn't shear off on the trip home after getting stuck. Forged knuckles are on the agenda now and fusable hubs. I'll post a picture asap.

Got the parts to do the Reid knuckle conversion yesterday. Buying a whole Chevy D44 front today for the outer parts needed to complete the conversion. Here's a pic of the broken knuckle and new Reid knuckles and WFO high steer components.
