somewhere out on Wharton/Jersey Pines, about half click from Ranger Station.
dudes cherokee stuck nose first in deep rut with arse end sticking out, see pic below.
my thought was to climb on rear bumper to add weight and give his non locker arse some traction.
yaaaahhh, rig bucked, i fell. i got up, didnt feel ****. until other friend said, "dude your leg", blood was flowing out like the mighty Mississippi. 3 jeeps and 5 hummers EVACED back to Ranger Station what felt like seconds doing like 30mph down some small trails.
holy hell, staples no big deal, giant gash no big deal, me watching the cauterize your skin, seriously ****ed up...i can smell the burning skin and it sucks that i know what burning skin smells like. it just brings up terrible burn memories, well not terrible, but extremely painful. esp in the 3 months following while i was healing.
this. i can watch all that other stuff, but when she cauterize'd you it made me cringe. so how exactly did it happen? did your leg get caught on something when you fell?
I'll post pic tonight of what the scar looks like now.
As you can see in the pic above, the idea was to jump on the bumper. But when the rig bucked i fell backwards and my leg sliced right through his chromed tip bumper.
Funny thing, I didnt feel anything. It was crazy to see that much blood just oozing out. I thought immediately, ok if it was shooting out fast I was done, I would have nicked an artery or something. Considering where I was in the pines, I would have died for sure.
