Parents' Jeep hit by drunk driver

So this is what happens when a drunk driver slams into the back of a stopped 04 WJ at about 55 mph. My family was sitting at a red light on the way to meet my gf and me for dinner this past Saturday night. My dad and sister had to get X rays and my sisters bf had a concussion. There were two guys in the bed of the truck and one of them ended up dieing. The driver was charged with felony dui involving death. The worst part is that it all could have been avoided if he wouldn't have been so stupid. Now that guy's life is ruined.

The first three pictures are my parents' Jeep. The fourth one is the back seat where my sister and her bf were sitting. The last picture is of the truck that the drunk guy was driving.

Glad no one in your family was seriously hurt, besides the concussion.

Wow. It looks like the Jeep did its job pretty well though. Even though the force of the impact had to be incredibly high.

I'm a strong believer in the eye-for-an-eye notion. That drunk driver deserves a tall tree and a short piece of rope.
