I would have rocked the door and gotten rocker guards... then stopped off at the vinyl shop...

What front and rear fenders are those?

Oh, and is her mom hot? Here's the ultimate payback:

Edit to add:
Looking back through, I see you saying you had the doors fixed, but it looks like you jsut went to half doors rather than fixing the fulls.

See... I got everything I wanted out of it. Everything's fixed, and my Jeep looks fantastic; I'm out of the relationship, so no harm, no foul.

And I'm definitely not driving down to Florida to cut the brake lines, either!

Actually, I heard that she totalled her TJ sometime after I left...

Dang man. Time to trade that engagement ring for some jeep armor. I also have learned patience in the Corps. It's what kept me from stomping a mudhole in some Motor T SSgt's rear today. I don't know if my patience would hold while watching that happen. You got skills. Glad you found out before you got hitched!

Well, I wish I could say the patience held a lot better than it did... I did something I'm not proud of, after she did that; something I'll never do again, certainly...

I didn't get the ring. She wouldn't give it back, and it was worth more than a grand over what I got for insurance... By that point I was just glad to get out, and I wasn't about to touch her again to pry it off her finger. Oh well.
