come on guys, it wasn't that bad of an idea.
They strapped to the side of the vehicle because no one wanted to get stuck trying to pull from the front or the back of where he was. He was in middle of a mud river.
They thought if they just pulled a little bit from the top of the role bar the passenger side wheels would lift out of the mud then fresh mud would fill in the hole. Maybe they were going to throw some rocks and stuff into the holes. Once set back down the jeep would have a fresh start again.
See? We all could have done the same exact thing.

Is it my imagination or does it look like the they actually had a carb fire before? The hood looks like it has some unusual discoloration as does the air filter canister. I wonder if this was a dead-on-arrival Jeep anyhow.

Most people disconnect all those components connecting the body to the chassis before removal of the body, but hey, some people are impatient.

I cant beleive between all of the people there, they couldnt figure out that was completely wrong............. And Im not suprised with that size bodylift. Is ignorance a comunicable disease nowdays?
