Thanks man. I was so excited that I couldn't focus at all during classes today. I still have one more to go before I can finally pick it up. I hope I don't have a totally blank gaze like this

WOW!!! Good to see the new Rubicon Thomas! That is a nice looking ride, I like the white a lot! Give me a shout when you want to lift it. You can come out to my neck of the woods and we can take care of it.

More than I would like. We got it to click over 71k on our test drive yesterday (really just an excuse to play with the 4-lo, lockers, and get the tranny hot to make sure it is still kick ***, which it is).

The white is growing on me oddly, and I don't even have it yet. I will be on your side of the River tomorrow to pick it up. It is in Staatsburgh (Just past Roosevelt's Library/house), so it should be like 10 or 15 minutes away from you.

I would love to lift it, but I just don't see that happening 'till after college. It is amazing how much of a difference the lockers and 4:1 make. The 7 speakers and sub are nice too, and I really enjoy the tire hum.

My offer still stands.... I can bang out a spacer lift in about an hour. (Probably even less now that I have a 30 gallon compressor and tools). What time are you picking it up?

I have been thinking about it, and I think when it is time for new tires (which will be for quite a while since these are BRAND SPANKING NEW) that I will probably kick it up to 33"s and do the MCE fenders. The tires are awesome because they still have the hairs on them, and the lugs still alternate in height (on the side, one is high, then next is lower, and it goes back and forth that way). I hope to get at least 30k out of them.

yea that's a little high of a price with 71k, i have seen a rubicon fully decked out in my woods with 50k less for 15-16k, just saying, i mean yours is very nice but the fact that is has been smoked in would have turned me away. get rid of the carpeting cause im sure that held its fair share of smoke.

I didn't pay anywheres near sticker, and you have to remember, this is a dealership so it comes with a law mandated warranty. It is an OK price for wha tit is.

As for the smoke, the hard top was yellow and black. The biggest thing is that it doesn't blow from the vents. If it does that, you will never get rid of it. My dad's truck was smoked in by the original owner, and you can't tell because the second owner was able to get rid of the smell. It is written in the paperwork that we don't take it if that smell doesn't go away. We also have a fully refundable warranty written in there too.

From what you are saying it sounds like they are chopped. MTRs chop like crazy if they are not rotated regularly. Any more than 2/32s difference in tread height is difficult to run out after you rotate them. I would rotate them as soon as you get them. Run your hand across the top of the tire and all the lugs should be at the same height. You may be able to get some tires off of them or more off of the price if they are badly chopped. As soon as you rotate them the tread blocks that are high will wear down to where the others are and you will lose a considerable amount of tread pretty fast. Sorry to inform you of this but you should know...still I really like you new rig
