Yeah, I know. Oh well to the no 4wd thing. And the Commander doesn't have any issues on ice or in the snow. Getting it to lose traction is pretty difficult.

I hope everything works out man. Don't let anyone trash ya on the 2wd in the snow BS. Accidents happen, at least your okay, and the Jeep can be upgraded... I mean fixed.

Her not having 4wd probably saved her a whole heck of a lot more trouble. Had her front drive shaft been in and it was locked into 4wd, when she hit the tree and her axle got shoved, chances are that her drivetrain would have also been damaged.

I vote that we try and help her figure out what to do with suggestions instead of focusing on the 'what if's'.

Well don't I feel like a dumb ***. Sorry for thinking you were a guy, I guess that's what I get for not looking at the profile, haha.

Good points all of which have been considered. Probably a good thing the sway bar was disconnected too. I have less things to replace now than I would have if I was running the Jeep the way I usually do.

It's all good. That's why I put girlie girl offroad stickers on the Jeep.

I'm glad you're ok and the jeep isn't too bad. And accidents do happen. 4 or 2wd. That's why they don't call it an "on purpose"

Where'd you get that decal?

I had it made. As far as I know you can't buy them anywhere.

Found out today that a friend of mine ran his TJ into a tree the same day as I did. Same road conditions and the same basic situation only he had 4wd to his advantage. So you're right, an accident is an accident regardless of 4wd or 2wd especially when it comes to ice.
