Goodbye to my first Jeep

This is what is left of my '99 TJ Sahara. It only had 95K miles on it. I was coming home from a wedding in Florida when this happened. No one was hurt. I glanced over my shoulder to make a lane change and at the same time the guy in front of me locked them up. There was no time to react. I barely felt the impact. I was heartbroken. I was dreading the call from the insurance company. I was hoping it wasn't totaled. But it was. I was very depressed about it, until the called to tell me how much they were going to pay me for it. $10,045.xx! Needless to say, now I'm shopping for my 2nd Jeep.

If I get the money in time, this might be my 2nd Jeep. Another '99 TJ, this one with 68K miles, 5 speed (last one was auto and I already had to rebuild it), and lots of extras the old one didn't have. $8900.

Nothing yet. Still waiting on the money to get in my account. Just waiting for the bank to finish processing it. It won't be that red one cause they sold it. Probably going Monday. It's been driving me crazy waiting, but it's for the best. My options in the past 24 hours have more than doubled. Here's my new favorite. I just hope it's still there when I get the money. '01 Sahara with 90k miles. $12,800.

Looks nice. Expensive bumper. Needs a winch. Good luck.

Nice replacement!!! Love the black one though. I would have bought the first back too if it was cheap. Being it was totaled it must have been cheap. With a little work it could be fixed.

I've written off 2 jeeps now, and it always blows. Still miss my original XJ. Nice on the new one though! and you have some extra to play with.
