It is the typical "Oh that thing is going slow, I have plenty of time!" Same thing happens with motor homes, buses, and trains. They appear to be going slower than they really are. I think I read that the slower trains actually hit more cars at crossings than the fast trains.

All I can think about is the pour Combine. Some people are just stupid, I always stop for crossing tractors no matter if I have a stop sign or they do.

I would imagine the damage to the combine was probably minimal. They are built to take a pounding all day every day, apparently unlike a chevy truck.

No, but it's abrasive and does have some oomph to it if you consider hundreds of thousands of ears of corn smacking into the thing nonstop for hours on end... for years and years...

ouch i could see that happening around here. back in november there was a jeep wrangler i belive that plowed into the back of a grain wagon on the interstate. guy in the jeep was from ohio he didnt make it wish i had a pic of what was left of the jeep it was ugly
