We were just at Uwharrie last weekend and had such a good time we want to make a trip as soon as we can (Ill have some pictures up soon I hope). Right now we are planning on going down on saturday and coming back sunday. We will have the regular three wranglers one rubicon my tj and my friends 93 yj. We are looking for wheeling friends. Last trip we focused mostly on daniel, but also did dicky bell and various other trails. We are looking forward to rocky mountain loop and another run up daniel next trip.

what are the trails like there? dont have a set of aggressive tires yet, just some at's. have heard you can wheel most of it by just airing down. saw a couple of zuks from winston that had been down there. they were only on 31-32" and not much lift, not sure on lockers. im open/open with a little lift and at's. would be interested in a trip in a few weeks.

Youd be fine, when its dry at/mt perform about the same. Youd be brave to try the harder trails if its been raining though. My friends rubicon has stock tires and his did great, and I have open diffs with 32s and didnt even air down and I was good on the toughest trail. Youd definitely have a good time, more of a challenge without huge tires.

I'm heading down this weekend with my girlfriend. (Aug 1-2nd) We'll be kayaking Saturday but will hit the trails some on Sunday. If anyone is around and wants to wheel together, let me know.

Can you give us an update on the trails sometime Fri or early Saturday?
Looks like there's a good chance of rain through the weekend.
