Well if it is 'icey' again it will be low hanging stuff. We had that problem 2 weeks ago. I will be running into a lot of stuff if that is the case

We'll let Clay lead if it is icy. He has a CJ with a hardtop and you cannot break a CJ. You can lose a lot of parts on the trail, but ya can't break 'em

Yeah, I was a HUGE help. Clay allowed me to hold the drop light (in Clay's defense, I can't be trusted with more than that)....

btw... I'm in for this trip. My son, with the 00 TJ, is heading to Bham for a party, so he won't be joining us.

This may be my last post before everyone meets saturday morning. I'll try to look here one more time at home before I head out. I don't have a modern phone that lets me play on the internet while I'm driving.

I'm leaving Orlando tonight and making my way to Unicoi State Park. I'll set up a campsite Friday afternoon at a walk-in site I reserved. I'll be making snowballs there Satuday morning if any of you show up earlier than noon. I have a blue TJ with florida plate...my name's Steve. If you don't see my jeep, I might be riding around some in the area.

You going to meet us at the spot for the trail ride?

Yes, I just meant I might nose around some in the morning waiting for noon. Maybe go to Helen for ice.....

I know the area. I've hiked the AT several times up there. I just thought if any of the local jeeps were there early, they might be interested. I'll tune to channel 7, but unless I'm close, I probably wouldn't pick you up. I'll be at the lodge before noon.
