Jeefs Jeep Yard- south Fl.

Hey Jeepers! St. Petersburg resident here, I bought my first TJ from a dealership a few months ago. I haven't done a whole lot to it yet, except for taking out the carpet and lining the bed, taking of the doors, etc. I haven't done a whole lot for good reason though... I don't know what to do! .

I decided my best plan of attack would be to get together with someone knowledgeable and try to pick some stuff up.

Anyone familiar with Jeff's Jeep Yard in the Tampa bay/clear water area? You figure I might be able to head over there and have my jeep looked over by an employee and get some tips on how I could make it more of a OHV? I'm not completely daft, I do have some projects planned for the Jeep, I'm just smart enough to know there are some things I don't know.

Oh, and one more thing... why don't 4drs ever wave back

edit: here's a photo

Hey man!

I've never been to Jeff's but have been meaning to go and look for a few much needed parts. I would use this forum to gather most of your information, the people here have more knowledge accumulated than anywhere else, even more than somebody who owns a Jeep yard .

Just ask some questions in the TJ area and learn. Don't forget to try the search function first though, many questions have already been answered and can be looked up for quick reference.

My good friend Jason works there. It's a great place and they do great work... They built a Jeep for ex-Bucs running back Mike Alstott.. All that being said, why pay to have someone else do the work ( or in my case, having all the fun ) If you need work done to your Rig, I'm your guy. Just Pm me and will set up a time.

+1 for reading stuff around here and seeing what others have done to their Jeeps. There are so many different ways you can go. The possibilities are endless.

You should try to join us the next time we set up a Central FL run. A group of us on here have gone riding together 6 or 7 times so far this year. I'm in Clearwater so let me know if you'd like to get together to talk Jeeps.
Over the mountains and through the woods, across the stream and up the slickrock, down the canyon and over the rocks to nobody's house I go.
