Hardrock and Ocala Feb 6th

Got a small crew coming up from Sarasota (Flying J Squadron) on Saturday to wheel and tent camping at Hardrock. Some of us have been there, but it will be the first time for a few. Looking at about 6-8 Jeeps for Sat. with probably half not staying the night.

So, the question is, where is a good place to wheel Sunday. I know some of the Ocala regulars have a secret spot, but it wouldn't be very mannerly of myself to beg to go there.

So, any suggestions for about 3-4 Jeeps to hit up on Sunday. We're looking to leave out as soon as the gates are open at Hardrock to let us out (do they close them at night?). Probably play around till 1 or so to make it back for the Super Bowl.

One of the Jeeps is stock and the other range from small lifts to big lifts with a diesel. Of course plans could change and we may end up with a smaller group, or a bigger group on Sunday.

Thanks
Tony

You keep talking about the secret spot and it won't be a secret any more.

We're coming up on Feb 6th and 7th. If you're busy or the spots are full, no hard feeling whatsoever. But, does anyone have suggestions on where to go on Sunday in the Forest? I've been to Hardrock, but none of our group has gone wheelin' in the ONF.

Thanks

Thanks John, that's really a cool thing to do. I got no problem meeting that early, I just need to check with Hardrock and make sure we're not locked in, in the morning (we're camping there). I'll check and give you a pm with my cell this weekend!

Not a problem, looks like we have a chance of getting rained out anyway. Recommend any places in the forest?

Mid 30s for Saturday night, hotel room may be in order instead of camping.
