"The Flats" off-road park in NC

My buddy and I went to the first opening of The Flats private off-road park this weekend and had a blast! They opened it to the public for one day only and I think that it was such a success that they will do more in the future.

I think they had 12 different trails rated from easy to impossible and a huge playground to romp around on. We were there from 9:30am to 6:00pm and were either wheeling or watching the whole time.

Couple of pics:

It is in Marion, NC off of I40.

About an hour and a half from Charlotte.

Can you give an address or something? I can't find anything about them on the web.

I just got back in the country after being away from NC for 8 years and I'm trying to find some groups in the Triad area and some places to wheel (besides URE). You guys know anything/anybody?

It is an invitation only private park and it doesn't have an actual address. I was able to go for their 1st annual open invite.

The park is off of Exit 85 on I40 West and it is literally right off the interstate.

hmmm I might have to look into this place as it is between my hometown (Statesville/Troutman) and where I live currently (Asheville). How could one be "invited"?

Looks like a nice place except it is on the other side of the state.
