I don't know much about wranglers but it really just depends on what you want to do with your Jeep. What size tires you want and just how serious you want to be with it. Lift kits are really not all that hard to do...good kits come with good instructions. I put a Rubicon Express lift kit on my XJ when I was in high school. It took my and my buddy two days but we didn't know what the hell we were doing. And it's a great way to learn about your Jeep.

You may want to look around the TJ section of the forum for ideas and pictures to see what you are dealing with.

Hope this helps

Pewee Valley is Oldham County right next to Louisville

As for a lift on my Jeep, I'd rather pay to have it done as I'm mechanically challenged. I also don't have the tools or a garage even if I could do the job. I guess my question is if you know a reputable person/place near Louisville that could do this for me let me know.

I live in a small town right outside of Bowling Green, I go to school at WKU.
As many jeeps as I see on campus I figure at least one of those folks are on the forum

Yeah, I don't count for much though, cuz I can't even got my jeep to run right. It's the biggest mystery I've ever faced. Anybody got a good 304 I can borrow for a week or so to see if the engine is the problem? I've replaced everything feasable except the camshaft.... twice on many things. lol
