Athens, GA need somewhere to ride

Where to wheel near here? Only good trails I have now are a couple hours north in the mtns. beasley knob and oakey mtn.

Anywhere in athens? big mud pits, trails, anything anywhere here?

I'm desperate for something close to town.

Most of the wheeling places are boarded up or have be blocked off. I usually make trips to Beasley Knob and River Rock. Unless you know someone who owns land in Oconee county or the other surrounding ones you're out of luck. I use to ride at Apalachee down 441 but of course its no longer accessible and its illegal now. At one point I rode behind SAM's and the BMW dealership as well. I think there is a mud pit on highway 53 but I've only had friends tell me about it.

Where are at in Athens? I'm originally from there. Just moved to Griffin back in January to take a job.
