Where the hell are the Denverites?

I currently live in the mountains of Virginia, but am possibly planning on upgrading to the mountains of Colorado (Denver) in the next 2 months or so, and was hoping to get some information on the local jeep scene. What are the clubs in the areas? Where are some trails and camping sites? Also, I'm looking for laws about tires sticking out past fenders, etc. Any information at all about jeeping in Denver would be appreciated.

Try the Colorado Jeep Club. You might have more luck.

I believe we have to have coverage of the fenders here in CO, but I have 33X15.50's on 4" BS without fender flares at all and have never been called on it. I do get a lot of mud and road sludge on the sides and windows though.

The one thing I know is that you ahve to have either a rear view mirror that is adjusted to see from 100 feet behind you to the horizon OR 2 side mirrirs. So going without doors/mirrors all summer is fine as long as you have a rear view mirror.
